Once you have reached Somerton, locating London House is straightforward. There is, effectively, one road which skirts the town and one which passes through the town itself. The premises are easily identified as they are above a barber’s shop and saddlery.
From Devon, Taunton, Curry Rivel or Langport, head into Somerton and on reaching a mini-roundabout, at The Royal Oak, bear left and follow the road right to the next min-roundabout. Turn right and within a short distance you will see London House at the junction of Broad Street and New Street.
From Bristol you have two possible routes.
The first option is to take the M5 south as far as Junc 23 (Bridgwater exit) and then the A39 towards Wells. By-pass the town of Street, passing Sainsbury’s (on left) and Clarks (on right) as far as a roundabout. Here, turn right on to the B3151 towards Somerton.
Alternatively, you can take the A37 and A39 through Wells to Street. At a roundabout take the B3151 towards Somerton, then follow the town signs (by turning right on to the B3153). At the mini-roundabout at the top of the hill turn left and within a short distance you will see London House at the junction of Broad Street and New Street.
From Wales take the M4 east and then the M5 south as far as Junc 23 (Bridgwater exit) and then the A39 towards Wells as far as Street. By-pass the town of Street, passing Sainsbury’s (on left) and Clarks (on right) as far as a roundabout. Here, turn right on to the B3151 towards Somerton. Follow the town signs (by turning right on to the B3153). From Yeovil take the A37 to Ilchester and then follow the B3151 towards Somerton and then town signs (by turning left on to the B3153). At the mini-roundabout at the top of the hill turn left and within a short distance you will see London House at the junction of Broad Street and New Street.
From Wells take the A39 to Street. At a roundabout take the B3151 towards Somerton. Then follow the town signs (by turning right on to the B3153). At the mini-roundabout at the top of the hill turn left and within a short distance you will see London House at the junction of Broad Street and New Street.

Parking is plentiful and (currently!) free throughout Somerton, both on the roads and in car parks. However, do check for time restrictions.
